    Q: Perfection
    Why doesn't my order look exactly like the sample on your site?

    A: Because I am a living, breathing person creating your item by hand. Just like a precious snowflake, no two will be exactly the same. I hand-paint each painting, hand-stamp, sand, and polish each silver piece and carefully create each tutu one piece of tulle at a time. I strive for perfection as your order means as much to me as if I were giving it as a gift myself. However, I know that nothing is ever perfect.

    Q: Polka Tot's
    What is the difference between a polka DOT and a polka TOT?

    A: Our polka dots are playful and come in a variety of sizes, while our polka tots are precious little tots with a uniformed look and pattern. You can view polka tot samples under name and letter plaques. You can choose any two colors for this precious little combo.

    Q: Gift Certificates
    Do you have gift certificates?

    A: Yes! We sure do... our Polka Dot Dollars! They come in increments of $5 and are adorable!

    Q: Custom designs
    Can I order something with other colors/designs than you offer on your site?

    A: Yes! At LPPD's we love working with our customers individually to create a work of art that suits YOUR style. Email us and we'll create a perfect piece for you.

    Q: Jewelry
    How long is the silver ball chain?

    A: This chain is a standard 24 inches. That is rather long, but you can easily cut it to your perfect size with regular scissors or snippers!

    Q: Font
    What will the font be on my order once completed?

    A: We do not have a standard font at LPPD. We most often do a whimsical font, although adjustments are made to best suit the product at hand. If you would like your font a specific way, please submit a sample via email or web link.

    Q: Shipping to others
    Can I have an item shipped directly to the recipient?


    A: Yes, just be sure to give us the name and mailing address for who you wish us
    to mail the order to in the alternate shipping section.

    Q: Shipping Time
    How soon can I expect to receive my order?


    A: Normally items ship out within 2-3 weeks from date of payment. Please know that each piece is hand-crafted upon payment to ensure it is tailored exactly to you, the customer. We do offer an optional Rush Shipping for an additional fee. When choosing Rush Shipping you can expect your order to ship out of my studio within one week.

    Q: Cancel an order
    What if I need to cancel an order?


    A: Once payment has been received, we cannot cancel an order. All orders are custom orders and begin within 24 hours of being received.

    Q: Satisfaction
    What if I am not satisfied with my order?

    A: If your order is created up to LPPD standards and is not damaged, then we are not required to replace your order. You are more than welcome to submit photos of design ideas/color swatches/font preferences prior to the painting process. We work with our customers individually to get a feel for what you are looking for. We do strive to 100% satisfy you and hope that is always the case.

    Q: Shipping and Handling
    How much is shipping and handling?

    A: S&H is different for everyone, as it is based on weight and location. We ship via USPS or UPS. If you have a different shipping preference, you can contact us to discuss. All items are shipped with Delivery Confirmation. All items are packaged securely and shipped with a tracking number. Any shipping claims (lost package/damaged item) must be taken up with your local USPS or UPS.

    Q: Damaged items
    What if the order arrives damaged?

    A: Please notify us via E-mail, within 24 hours of receiving the item. We cannot be
    responsible for damages that are not reported within 24 hours of delivery. Each piece is carefully wrapped and packaged prior to shipping. Please retain the original packing material for inspection by the postal carrier. We cannot be responsible for damaged items without proof of our mailing materials present.

    Q: Incorrect spelling or information
    What if I receive an item and the spelling, date or design is incorrect?


    A: Please be sure to double check the details of your order before submitting it.
    We paint each item upon receiving the order, based on the information given in
    the order form. We cannot be held responsible for incorrect personalization if
    the order was painted according to the order.
